The Way I Ran My Agency Was Actually Preventing Me From Getting The Freedom I Wanted!
A lot of agency owners start a business because they want the freedom of not having a boss and working on their own terms.. That’s why I did it, and I was preventing myself from achieving what I wanted..
It wasn’t until one of my friends (the same one I mentioned above) did a bold experiment with his business..
.. And I watched him make hundreds of thousands of dollars during an entire year, until the brilliant idea of DOING EXACTLY WHAT HE DID crossed my mind.
When I did, it truly did change everything overnight.
I will share what changed with you in just a minute, but I want to quickly rewind a little bit and show you how I used to run my digital agency (some readers may recognize themselves).
This is the old me, and your average digital agency owner:
1 Agency owners gets a lead (someone who is interested in their service)
2 Agency owners needs to know what the prospect wants, so they eventually manage to get into a meeting or phone call after some back-and-forth to figure out scheduling
3 Agency owner agrees to summarize what was discussed, and “get back to you with a proposal”
4 Agency owner spends hours perfecting a proposal which he is very nervous to send out because he now realizes that he was too afraid to talk about prices, and this proposal will most certainly come as a shock to the prospect because of the high price
5 Agency owner sends proposal
6 Prospect is shocked at the high price
7 Agency owner wonders why he hasn’t heard back, it’s been 5 days since he sent the proposal
8 Agency owner follows up via email
9 Prospect deflects with something along the lines of “just need to discuss with my team”
10 Repeat step 8 and 9 a few times
11 The whole thing fizzles out, and tens of hours end up being completely wasted, leading nowhere
12 Start over
This SUCKS! I’ve been through that journey many times.
But as I mentioned above, after watching a close friend completely flip his agency upside down, and making a lot of money doing so, I eventually followed suit, and flipped my agency upside down too.
Sure enough, things got a lot better after that.
Here’s what changed..

I Slashed Our Prices By 65%!
I can hear you thinking..
“You mean to tell me you made more money by charging less money?”
Yes! It’s completely counterintuitive I get that.
Everyone out there is telling you that the way to make more money is to charge higher prices, I now have proof that says otherwise.
In fact none of my successful agency friends charge premium prices, I’ll tell you more about why high prices are a terrible idea in a second..
But I made a second change that was also instrumental in my 2 Hour Agency business..
I turned our service into packages that you could purchase right off our website.
Before doing so I was telling myself that “every client is different, so we need to make a different offer to every client based on what they want.”
But when I looked at what all our previous clients had ordered, there were some big common denominators which allowed me to create 3 packages, with optional add-ons.
This Completely Crushed The Need For Phone Calls, Meetings, And Proposals Overnight!
We did $20,000 in sales in the 2 weeks after that. At that time that was like 4 months worth of sales to us.
The reason why most people don’t do this is that they are blinded by the thought of making a high ticket sale.
After all a $2,000 sale sounds a lot better than a $500 sale, right? And keeping all else equal it certainly would be better (I like money).
The thing is, all else are not equal. Here’s what I’ve come to realize..
