Description

The mixed-voice belt is an exciting sound that SELLS RECORDS! Most of the current top selling Pop, R&B, Gospel, Country artist can perform the mixed voice belt. This sound is also used for theatre performances (singing and speaking components).

Increasing Your Range is the second course in OneVoice Music Academy’s Vocal Boot Camp. It is designed to help the vocalist develop and strengthen his/her mixed voice belt.The first step is to locate and distinguish between vocal registers. Second, passagios-points of transition between vocal registers would be discovered. Finally, participants are encouraged to perform the belting sound within the context of the simple vocal warm-ups included in the program.

The exercises are designed to establish flexibility and ease of transition from one register to the next.

This course is intended for beginning and intermediate vocalists.
Basic music theory is an asset, but not a necessity.
